About

Major Tom is an astronaut-themed armor set. Put together, it lets you rocket jump quite high without injuring yourself as much and do more damage while in the air, at the cost of taking more damage.

Major Tom Helmet

• Level 1: Deal 5% more damage while airborne. Take 15% more damage.
• Level 2: Deal 8% more damage while airborne. Take 15% more damage.
• Level 3: Deal 10% more damage while airborne. Take 15% more damage.

Major Tom Chestplate

Unlock this blueprint for 2,585 cubes.

• Level 1: Take 10% less explosive damage.
• Level 2: Take 15% less explosive damage.
• Level 3: Take 20% less explosive damage.

Major Tom Leg Armor

Unlock this blueprint for 2,185 cubes.

• Level 1: Space walk: Jump 40% higher.
• Level 2: Space walk: Jump 40% higher.
• Level 3: Space walk: Jump 40% higher.

Major Tom Strategy

• Pair with a launcher or a weapon that lets you jump higher and score kills in the air.
• This armor set is not recommended for those not experienced with rocket jumping. If you're proficient with the Soldier in TF2 however, this may be the set for you.
• Berserker helmet is better overall, giving a constant 15% damage increase all the time with the same 15% incoming damage penalty, instead of a 10% damage increase Major Tom does in the air.

Currently, the leg armor only lists a 40% jump height boost for all levels.
